It’s been a while, hasn’t it?
Today I wanted to share with you, my under 3 minutes brow routine. Such a luxury to have extra time in the morning nowadays! As a mom of a toddler and a pre-schooled, you can imagine that I have to make every minute count in my morning routine.
On the other hand, I also don’t want to just give up… I still want to make the effort to look pulled together in the office and my day to day life. Plus looking good does boost once confidence no matter what!
As I was saying, my mornings are usually coming short, so I have to figure out routines and discover new products that will give me the desired effect without burning too much of my time.
Today’s routine is my current daytime eyebrow-routing under 3 minutes. So let’s begin!
Step One – Prime
Yes, I always prime my eyebrows for three reasons a) Extra hydration b) Taming the untamable and c) Longevity.
For this step, I use the Benefit Browvo Conditioning Primer (Price 28$)
this is a clear gel that conditions your eyebrows. It also allows for the rest of the brow products to apply much easier and it prolongs their longevity. Sounds good no!
Tip! Don’t wait too long to apply the next product. Move to step two while the primer is still tacky.
Step Two – Apply Colour & Build Volume
I find the Benefit Gimme Brow (Price 24$) the best and fastest product for this step. This product is super easy to use and it comes in three color options (mine is in shade 3). Just comb your brows with the tiny brush and see the color and volume build-up in seconds.
Step Three – Fill In The Sparse Areas
This is the final step in my routine. If you are blessed with thick brows then you might be able to skip it altogether but if you are having small sparse areas or would like to give some extra definition and increase pigmentation on your brows then you might want to include this one as well. With an angled brush I go over any sparse areas or wherever I find I need to build volume and pigmentation. Keep a light hand so it looks natural and not overdrawn.
In this step, I am using a powder. My preferred one is the “Beauty Express” from Anastasia Beverly Hills. (Price 43.07 CHF) Another option would be your brow-wiz (Price 21$) mine is also from Anastasia (but you can use whichever you like). However, I do prefer the powder option better because the final result looks more natural, it doesn’t feel as heavy and because you can mix different colors in order to recreate your natural brow color.
As always, I do hope that you enjoyed this blog post and that you found the routine or some of the tips helpful. Let me know what your favourite products are or any other tips you might have for a quick eyebrow routine?
Till next time
xoxo from Zürich,
