It’s the first of its kind, a new makeup line collaboration between Victoria Beckham and Estèe Lauder available now.
The collection launched on the 13th of September and is available at Estée Lauder.com and at Selfridges. The line consists of one eye shadow palette (6 eye shadows) retailing for 95$, three single eye shadow colours for 45$ (each), one highlighter retailing for 65$, one bronzer for 65$, two lipsticks for 45$ (each), one lip pencil retailing for 30$, one lip-gloss for 36$, one eye foil for 36$, a double ended coal pencil for 30$ and the “Morning Aura” illuminating cream retailing for 95$.
The packaging resembles Tom Ford and Charlotte Tilbury designs. It has a gold rim and a ruffled leather casing. All in all a beautiful packaging.
The collections is promoting the empowerment of women “to feel sexy and confident”. As Victoria Beckham describes it, ” I love to make women feel like the best version of themselves”.
The looks are supposed to be imitating wet, sweaty skin with bold smudged eyes and nude lips celebrating the beauty of imperfection.
Estée Lauder is promoting the collection online with four suggested look creations, each representing a big city. London, Paris, New York und L.A. are a clever marketing twist, making it easier for the everyday woman to select the look that represents her the best.
